Position :Custom & Global Trade Compliance Analyst
Location - Bangalore
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Establish a sustainable data analytical function with standard processes and methodologies.
Reduce expansive data points into a streamlined summary format suitable for effective decision making.
Administer common performance standards, procedures, templates, metrics, and analytical tools.
Provide adhoc analysis / reporting capabilities as required.
Supports the financial, strategic and technical capabilities of the organization with performance, process, project and financial impact analyses and reporting
Partners with internal and external partners such as finance, procurement, supply chain, and IT in supporting the acquisition and dissemination of data and analyses.
Creates and Maintains databases and reports
Provides project management support
Other duties as assigned
Bachelors degree in a related business (supply chain management) or technical discipline, Equivalent work experience considered.
1-3 years of experience in a data analysis or project management role
3-5 years of experience in a trade compliance function such as HS & ECCN classification, Free trade agreements (FTA) or Country of origin (COO) determinations
Knowledge of international supply chain, logistics and material management processes
Excellent ability to communicate, both verbally and written, primarily in English, additional languages are a plus
Work experience in international environment
Customer focus / willingness and ability to work with others
Experience in SAP and SAP-GTS or equivalent ERP system desired
Strong PC skills; database manipulation and query; proficiency in MS Office applications including SharePoint
Ability to travel internationally (<5% estimated)
